Love Object is a three channel video projection that pokes at the canon of psychoanalysis by conflating Lacan's Mirror Stage with Freud's Oedipus and Castration Complexes. In the video I touch myself ambiguously between masturbation and examination, while holding a double­sided mirror between my legs. Reflections on the other side of the mirror expose an audience of my mother and grandmother and explore the bodies of my voyeurs.
